Too late for the winter season: Hot Huggie Hot water bottle cover

Something to keep me warm without high heat bills: the hot water bottle and its snugly, felted cover. The pattern is from Rowan Winter Gifts catalog. I took this pattern and ran "wild"; I felted it and then sewed a button clasp in addition to mica and Beatrix Potter buttons on the lower left.

FINALLY DONE. Rowan plaited sweater in Alpaca

My mom brought the alpaca wool back from her fearless trip to Peru. I will wear the sweater for a few days before I give it to her for Channukah. Excuse the goofy faces and thanks to Rachel for taking them!

Felted Fez!

If you are a beginner knitter and don't follow a pattern, you end up with a felted fez! I knit this hat over three years ago for Tom (featured above).
